Returns & Refunds at Silly Shepherds
Where you purchased your product determines how to arrange a return or request a refund.
1. Purchased Directly from Silly Shepherds
This section applies to purchases made directly from us.
Standard Physical Products
For standard physical products, such as a paperback or a non-personalized item, we offer consumers a 14-day cooling-off period, starting the day after delivery.
You can cancel your purchase within this period without giving a reason. After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the product.
Return shipping is at your expense, provided we clearly informed you of this before purchase.
If you return your entire order, we also refund the original standard delivery charge. Any additional cost for a more expensive delivery option you selected is not refundable.
EPUBs and Other Digital Downloads
Digital purchases generally also have a cooling-off period.
If you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once delivery begins, you can no longer cancel simply because you changed your mind. We confirm this agreement by email.
If your download has a technical problem or you receive the wrong file, contact us. Your rights regarding faulty or incorrect digital content remain unaffected.
Personalized Products
Products made to your specifications or clearly personalized — for example, with your name, photo, text, or design — are generally excluded from change-of-mind returns.
Your statutory rights still apply if a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
Inspecting Your Product
You may inspect a physical product as you would in a store.
If you handle or use it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may deduct any resulting loss in value from your refund.

Refunds
We refund you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. For physical products, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever comes first.
Refunds use your original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.
Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights.
2. Purchased Through Amazon or Another Seller
If you purchased through Amazon, a bookstore, or another external seller, please arrange returns, replacements, refunds, and order support with the seller you purchased from.
We don’t have access to those sellers’ order or payment details and cannot process their returns or refunds.

For paperback orders, open Your Orders in your Amazon account.
For Kindle purchases, check Your Orders → Digital Orders, or contact Amazon Customer Service.
The available options and deadlines depend on Amazon’s applicable policy and your purchase.
Do not send an Amazon purchase to Silly Shepherds. Follow the return instructions provided by Amazon.
Other Sellers
Contact the store or website where you placed your order and follow its return procedure.
