Odin came to live with us on August 1, 2026. We’re grateful he found his way to us, and that we got the chance to help him build what he hadn’t yet had the opportunity to learn: calm, routine, and structure.
He’s big, black, and impressive to look at. Right now, we’re focused on the basics, which take time: a steady daily routine, clear expectations, and lots of repetition. Every day, I write down what happens: the small breakthroughs and the days when things still don’t go as planned. That journal has become the raw material for a second book. But honestly, I mostly write it for myself, so I can remember how far we’ve come when things get tough again.
Odin’s story is still unfolding. He’s right in the middle of it. And that’s exactly why he has such a prominent place here.
